Beal also speaks about the personnel and plant expansion in 1970-75, experimentation with the beer formula, the passage of the "Shiner Brewery Bill" by the Texas legislature in 1973, his views on marketing beer, the production of private label beer, the organizational structure of the company, brewery publicity, his views on government regulations, and his civic activities. Calvin Wallace, a truck driver for the Spoetzl Brewery, discusses his family background and comments on Kosmos Spoetzl, his experiences delivering beer, vehicle maintenance, and shares his views on living in Shiner, Texas. Alfred Schramm, a manager for the Spoetzl Brewery, discusses his family background, his experiences as bookkeeper and clerk in Kingsville and Shiner, and the effects of Prohibition on the brewery. He also comments on Kosmos Spoetzl, the expansion of the brewery, government regulations,the ingredients of beer, and his retirement. Marie Roeder, office manager of Spoetzl Brewery, comments on Celie Spoetzl, her family background, the bookkeeping for the brewery, government regulations, price fluctuations of beer ingredients, and the brewery personnel. John Hybner, brewmaster and plant manager of the Spoetzl Brewery, speaks about his employment in the cellars, the brewhouse, and the bottling department, his responsibilities as brewmaster, the production process, and government regulations. Dan Mundinger, Vice-President of Spoetzl Brewery, discusses his business background, the stock buyout of the brewery in 1968, the expansion and upgrading of the plant, its marketing status, the pressure to label ingredients, and the Brewery Association of America.
